  Strange I mentioned the National Guard and they are now being deployed not related to Covid but instead protestation of the death of another black man under the knee of law enforcement.

  Watch how fast this shit stops. With minimal Guard deployed.

  I'm embarrassed by this criminal underbelly of whiners in this country. I have two children serving in the military if you can not tell by my posts. I wonder if their service is even warranted. Why fight for the freedom of retarded people of every color and creed when they act like assholes.

  Suffering from months of lockdown and now destroyed by looting and curfew. FUCK YOU ASSHOLES!

  Police are hamstrung out of fear of now being sued or jailed. The military needs to act by spraying bullets! END THIS ANARCHY WITH THE POWER VESTED IN YOU!

  Troops follow orders. I relate to and applaud your hopefulness. Let's just hope we never get into that scenario.

  Armed Americans may have marginal success against law enforcement. As soon as the National Guard is called in its over.

  If the National Guard miraculously becomes overwhelmed then there is the full force of entire military. Wont be riot gear or combat arms anymore, it will be tanks and drones and snipers on every tower.

  That officer is lucky he was not seriously injured or even killed. The taser had little effect.

  Then after struggling to get control of the knives the officer drops them over the railing into the staircase below where other officers could have also been injured!

  Next time, put on the night vision goggles, kill the lights, open the door and shoot him in the head.

  I'm always required to wear a mask at work. This hasn't been a big change for me. We are required to wear them at grocery stores in my area as well, and anytime outside when within 6 feet of others. It is becoming exhausting and in general the rebellion has begun.

  I do not enjoy wearing a mask outside of work. But I do it now when I know it makes others comfortable.

  What is frustrating, is that 90% of people wearing masks today are using them incorrectly. Constantly touching their mask, up/down, right side/wrong side in, hanging over the ear then back on, using over and over. Pointless. May as not wear one because now you are more likely to be infected by SOMETHING as opposed to nothing if you had worn no mask. You've just mishandled something laden with bacteria that typically should be nowhere near your face. Imagine just grabbing your kitchen towel off the counter after a day or two of use and wrapping it around your face. That's what you are getting mishandling your clean n95 mask or substitute. Same with those wearing gloves. When you do not take them off properly and dispose of them properly, there is no point.

  But the powers that be say they work and are the key to moving forward. That is largely because of the success the medical field has shown with lower infection rates and good use of PPE.

  General population is not well trained in PPE.

  Remember. When this all broke out, we were told NO masks. (because medical needed them and no supply). Then once billion dollar contracts floated around, EVERYONE wear a mask.

  Scientific data and guidance always follows the money.

  Has Robert Ciranko replaced Don Adams as president of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania ?

  robert ciranko has been a "helper" of the governing body in the writing department.. don adams (born 1925, presumably 91 years old now) has been president of the wtbts since 2000. .

  however, in recent official posts (april 2016), robert ciranko is identified as "president of the watch tower".

  does anybody know what happened and if this is an official change?.

  this topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.

  latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.

  the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.
